The Tea Stall Owners Welfare Association (TSOWA) aims to offer help and support to
that section of society without whom most people cannot start their day - Tea Vendors
- better known as Chaiwallahs.
TSOWA has taken the initiative of empowering and uplifting the lives of the chaiwallahs
in society who we believe have tremendous potential to contribute to the nation’s
growth, if they have the right direction. Hence TSOWA was formed to provide a platform
for Tea Stall Owners to collectively address various issues and to upgrade working
and living conditions thereby benefiting not just members but customers and the community
as well. TSOWA aims to support and transform lives of chaiwallahs through educative
programmes, training workshops, health and hygiene awareness campaigns and many more
enterprising initiatives that will encourage them in their economic and social development.
